Jeremy Thomason

Director

He has a formidable academic background combined with 25 years’ consultancy experience. He has worked in many locations around the world from the Arctic White Sea to the Tropical Pacific and is one of the few people certified by NOAA as an Aquanaut, having lived and worked in the Aquarius submarine laboratory. He is an internationally recognised expert in antifouling and biofouling.

Patricia Ocampo

Director and Senior Partner

She has more than 20 years’ experience with government agencies, universities, intergovernmental organizations, and local and international NGOs, and has worked in international research and cooperation projects in marine biology, natural resource management and human geography, as well as interdisciplinary international research projects on science policy and innovation.

Andrea Gutiérrez

Marine Biologist and Field Course coordinator

She’s a marine biologist with experience in the care and protection of sea turtles. She has participated in projects to analyze samples of marine invertebrates from coastal ecosystems of Yucatan and has assisted in the planning, logistics and running of scientific conferences as well as field courses for marine biologists. She runs our immersion facilities here in Mexico.

Israel Herrera

GIS Manager

He has a degree in Communications with 5 years’ experience in GIS analysis. He started as a data analysis intern and has now specialized in GIS. He has created our global marine and terrestrial databases, worked on individual GIS-based projects, and oversees the geospatial aspects of all our projects.
